The power of perennials v.1

When you think you don't have enough flowers, think again, and thank the power of perennials. At this time of year, while we wait for many annuals to kick into gear, these reliable forces of nature, that become more vigorous year after year are just the ticket to bridge the gap.

There may not be enough of any one variety, but there are enough varieties to plunder to fulfil buckets and bunches if you fossick hard enough. In bloom buckets that went out yesterday, a whole bucket was made up of ranunculus, while other buckets were crammed with perennial cornflower, astrantia, chamomile, anemone, hesperis, foxgloves, bracchyglottis, hellebores, young elder, pittosporum, aquilegia and freesias.

Lots of colours and textures to play with as spring hits its stride 🌸
