Tulips

from $58.00

Tulips are the first main statement flower that blooms at The Arrowtown Flower Company, launching our flower season. They herald the arrival of Spring - properly (down here in the deep south)!

Our tulips are grown in the heart of Arrowtown, and our collection has been specially curated to showcase movement, colour, form and texture of these sculptural beauties. Tulips keep growing once they are in the vase, and their vase life keeps giving, so they really are great value.

Tulip bunches are available in 15 or 30 stem bunches and are available for collection from Arrowtown. Delivery (not daily) is available on request and at a charge - see Collections | Delivery information to find out more.

Tulips keep growing in the vase, so be prepared to watch your tulips lengthen and unfurl before your eyes! For best results, be sure to trim the stem by a centimetre or so and freshen the water every few days.

Specific colours cannot be guaranteed, as some tulip varieties are earlier to bloom than others, so we pick what will provide best vase life from the garden at the time of order.

Tulips are bound loosely by raffia - single use plastic wrap is not a consideration. Because our flowers are free of any sprays and harsh chemicals, they can be safely composted at home. We love the idea that once the flowers have had their time in the limelight, they are returned to the ground via composting.
